Minutes of the Clintonville Public Library Board of Trustees

March 20, 2002

The regular meeting of the Clintonville Library Board was held on Wednesday at 3:32 p.m. at the Library, with Cathy Belliveau presiding.

The following members responded to roll call: Cathy Belliveau, Judy Zueske, Bev Kersten, and Bernice Olk. Excused absent: Dick Koeppen, Tom O'Toole. Absent: Jerald Schoenike

The Open Meeting Statement.

The minutes of the February 20, 2002 regular meeting were approved as printed on motion by Bev Kersten, seconded by Judy Zueske. ALL VOTING AYE.

The Financial Report and Special Accounts Report were approved as printed on motion by Judy Zeuske, seconded by Bev Kersten. ALL VOTING AYE.

The total expenses, including salaries, in the amount of $20,843.47 were allowed for payment on motion by Bev Kersten, seconded by Judy Zueske. ALL VOTING AYE.

The Librarian's Report was read, discussed and ordered filed.

A service contract for the fax machine will not be made.

The Library Board Policy on use of multi-media projector requires the projector to be used at the Library only on motion by Bernice Olk, seconded by Judy Zueske. MOTION PASSED.

The Board approved the Library's participation in the city auction.

Kathy handed out a draft of the 2001 Annual Report.

Kathy reported on the recent action of the State Assembly to eliminate S. 43.52 (2) of the Wisconsin Statutes relating to free public library service.

Malfunctioning faucet handles in the men's and women's rest rooms will be replaced.

The meeting was adjourned at 4:11p.m. on motion by Judy Zueske, seconded by Bev Kersten.
