Minutes of the Clintonville Public Library Board of Trustees
October 16, 2002
The regular meeting of the Clintonville Library Board was held on Wednesday, October 16, 2002 at 3:40 p.m. at the Library, with Dr. Jerald Schoenike presiding.
The following members responded to roll call: Bev Kersten, Dick Koeppen, Sandy Loberg, Tom O'Toole, Jerald Schoenike, and Cathy Belliveau (arrived 4:00 p.m.). Excused absent: Judy Zeuske Others present: Kathy Mitchell
The Open Meeting Statement.
The minutes of the September 18, 2002 regular meeting were approved as printed on motion by Tom O'Toole, seconded by Bev Kersten. ALL VOTING AYE.
The Financial Report and Special Accounts Report were approved as printed on motion by Dick Koeppen, seconded by Bev Kersten. ALL VOTING AYE.
The total expenses, including salaries, in the amount of $21,470.28 were allowed for payment on motion by Tom O'Toole, seconded by Bev Kersten. ALL VOTING AYE. The Librarian's Report was read, discussed and ordered filed.
Agreed to a request from librarian's report to change next meeting Nov. 20 to 4:00 p.m. and meetings thereafter on motion by Tom O'Toole; seconded by Bev Kersten. MOTION CARRIED.
Business CDs - Kathy is given standing permission to invest for 12 months the Mantin and Thompson CDs which mature on October 22nd on motion by Tom O'Toole, seconded by Dick Koeppen. MOTION CARRIED.
Calendar - May stay open 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on New Year's Eve Day this year and next. Circled dates are days that the library will be closed on motion by Dr. Jerry Schoenike, seconded by Tom O'Toole. MOTION CARRIED.
RE: Letter from Shawano City-County Library - Kathy and Dr. Schoenike will get together with Rick Krumwiede and the Marion librarian to "mull" this over.
Cathy Belliveau took over the meeting at 4:05 p.m.
Cathy Belliveau and Dr. Jerald Schoenike will attend budget meeting with the City on Wednesday, October 30th (5:00-7:00 p.m.). Cathy Belliveau and Kathy Mitchell will attend the November 5th City budget meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 4:13 p.m. on motion by Sandy Loberg, seconded by Bev Kersten.
