Business:

New Agenda Format. The Librarians' Reports will be itemized on the agendas from now on as per request of the mayor for better citizen and press awareness.

Personnel. A personnel issue was referred to the September 15, 2004 meeting for closed session per Wis. Stats. 19.85(1)(c).

Library Hours Survey. Surveys are being handed out to patrons at this time.

Waupaca County Library Service Plan. The plan was approved by the County Board. Kathy was interviewed by the Tribune-Gazette regarding the plan.
Kathy is wondering if Clintonville's high cost per circ may be due to the lower number of items checked out per visit. More limits have been put on the number of items borrowed at Clintonville than at other libraries.
A handout featuring the names and addresses of the county supervisors was developed by an area library. Kathy will look into putting a shorter version out for the public.

Capital Improvements. Information was given on replacement costs for various parts of the heating and cooling systems. Some of these items may need to be added to the 2005-8 Capital Improvement Plan.

2005 Budget. There will be an increase in workmen's compensation and insurance.

Long Range Plan. Meeting will be scheduled when Dr. Schoenike is present.

Sesquicentennial. Sandy mentioned plans are being made to celebrate Clintonville's Sesquicentennial next year over the Fourth of July.

The meeting was adjourned at 3:35 p.m. on motion by Beverly Kersten, seconded by Ray Brockhaus. All present voted aye. Motion carried.
