Did you know you can check out ebooks from the library's online catalog, InfoSoup? The library is part of a statewide consortium that purchases downloadable audiobooks and ebooks for library users from Overdrive.  OverDrive ebooks are available through InfoSoup and can be read on your computer using Adobe Digital Editions software and can be transferred to OverDrive compatible devices. OverDrive's eBooks are compatible with the following e-readers:

  • Amazon Kindle
  • Android devices*
  • Barnes & Noble Nook
  • iPad/iPhone/iTouch* (Download the Overdrive App from the App Store)
  • Kobo eReader
  • PanDigital Novel
  • Sony Reader (Pocket Edition, PRS-700, Daily Edition, PRS-505, and Touch Edition)

*Adobe EPUB eBooks work with Android™ & Apple® devices

On the right side of the InfoSoup home page go to ebooks for more information on how to download books to different devices, including tutorials for Kindle and Nook.

When going to the Overdrive Digital Download Center from your home or work computer select InfoSoup Libraries.  Enter your library card number and pin to see what titles are available.

Here are a couple links for help with the Kindle and Nook.

If you have any questions, please call or ask at the library.
